Leah Haddad - PMHNP-BC, FNP-C

“I love my work! My roles have evolved from patient to practitioner, from athlete to clinician but my goals haven't: deliver clear plans, real relief, and care that helps people feel truly well balanced.”

Leah Haddad’s curiosity about the mind started early how people think, focus, bounce back, and change. It sharpened in the pool as a Division I athlete, where discipline and resilience were daily practice. A serious injury turned interest into conviction: practical, compassionate, results-oriented mental health care changes lives. Encouraged by mentors, Leah earned a Master of Science in Nursing and a post-master’s specialization in psychiatric mental health, cementing her path in psychiatry.

Leah Haddad, PMHNP-BC, FNP is a dual board-certified psychiatric mental health and family nurse practitioner, and founder of Well Balanced Psychiatry & Behavioral Health. She blends evidence-based medication management with CBT-informed, skills-focused therapy and executive-function strategies to help high-performing adults feel calmer, clearer, and more consistent.

Leah works with adults in high-demand roles entrepreneurs, professionals, parents, students, and former athletes navigating life transitions, stress, burnout, and focus problems. As a former D1 athlete, entrepreneur, and parent, she understands performance pressure and designs practical, step-by-step plans with clear next actions, coaching-style accountability, and tools to use between sessions. Her approach is warm, structured, and results-oriented – rooted in empathy, accountability, and nervous-system regulation. Care is collaborative and trauma-informed with measurable goals whether stabilizing mood, reducing anxiety, improving sleep, or strengthening follow-through. Leah offers telehealth sessions partnering with therapists, primary care, and community resources for coordinated, whole-person support.
